conditional sentences

CONDITIONAL SENTENCES is a sentence that express wish, hope, plan, etc that may be POSSIBLE, UNREAL OR CONTRARY TO THE FACT, OR IMPOSSIBLE.
There are three (3) types of conditional sentence, namely: (1) future conditional, (2) present conditional and (3) past conditional.
Type 1: FUTURE CONDITIONAL
with the form: IF+SUBJECT+V1, SUBJECT+WILL+V1
Example:
if i pass the final examination, i will continue to the University of Indonesia.
Type 2: PRESENT CONDITIONAL
with the form: IF+SUBJECT+V2, SUBJECT+WOULD+V1
Example:
if i were rich, i would travel around the world.
NOTE: for type 2, "WERE" is used for ALL SUBJECT
Type 3: PAST CONDITIONAL
With form: IF+SUBJECT+HAD+V3, SUBJECT+WOULD+HAVE+V3
Example:
if i had passed the final examination. i would have continued to the University of Indonesia.
NOTE: for type 3 it is often form in INVERSION.maksudnya adalah posisi subjek dan kata kerjanya terbalik serta TIDAK menggunakan IF.
Example: had i passed the examination, i would have to continued to the University of Indonesia.
